Yes, you will be notified by email when the book you requested on interlibrary loan (ILLiad) arrives. The received ILL book will be held at the main desk in Moon for you to come and pick up.

Please note that the time it takes a book to arrive once it has been requested can vary greatly, the speed being dependent on where the book is coming from and how it is sent.

On the other hand, journals articles, unlike books, are usually sent electronically and therefore arrive more quickly. A journal article requested through ILLiad is usually filled as a PDF. In most cases when the article is received you will get an email notifying you that the article is available through your Illiad account. All you have to do is log into your account the retrieve the article. In a few cases the PDF of the article may be sent to you as an email attachment instead of through your ILLiad account..
