Q. Why do I get a login screen when I click "Download full text in PDF" in Elsevier's ScienceDirect?

The short answer is that you really can't get the article through ScienceDirect and this is how Elsevier has chosen to display articles that ESF does not have direct access to.

But have no fear! Your article is still within reach. Check to see if we have that journal using ESFLinks or the journal finder. If you get no results, request the article through Interlibrary Loan and we will get it for you.
