Updated instructions (November 2023) for the Moon library printer.

Printing jobs are managed by the application PaperCut NG which may be accessed at printing.esf.edu.  Each student, faculty, or staff member receives a balance of 500 credits each semester.  The balance is charged 1 credit for a black and white copy and 5 credits for a color copy.

Printing from a laptop or personal device

  1. Your device needs to be on the ESF Evergreen wireless network.
  2. Go to printing.esf.edu to open PaperCut NG.
  3. Login with your ESF ID if prompted.
  4. Choose Web Print > Submit a Job > choose printserver-01\BW Global Queue (virtual) for black and white copies.  For color copies choose printserver-01\Moon Main Color. For double sided copies, choose the options with (Duplex). Click on the Print Options and Account Selection button (located at the bottom right of the screen).
  5. Select how many copies you want and click on the Upload Documents button (lower right).
  6. Upload the document that you want to print by clicking on the Upload from Computer button, or drag the document into the box.  Click on the Upload & Complete button.  You will now see your job as "Held in a Queue."
  7. Go to the printer in Moon Library and use a smartphone to scan the QR code above the printer.  You may be prompted to login with your ESF ID.
  8. Follow the link from the QR code to release your print job to the printer.  It may take a moment for the job to print, so be patient if it doesn't work immediately.
