You can go directly to the ESF Libraries website and access what you are looking for or you can create a bookmark to create your own re-direct. Additionally, if you are willing to add an extension to chrome, there is an extension that will make this faster on computers and tablets. The extension, EzProxy Redirect, once added, will allow you to reload any page you are viewing through ESF's remote access login. For example, if you are on the American Chemical Society's website and want to view the article as an ESF student or employee, you just click the icon and you get redirected to ESF's remote access login page. Once you login, you will automatically be re-directed back to the original American Chemical Society page you were viewing which should now recognize you as an ESF user.

To install EzProxy Redirect (note: this will only work on desktops and tablets, not phones):

  • Open Chrome
  • Go to EzProxy Redirect
  • Click "Add to Chrome"
  • In your browser, right click the book icon.
  • Click Options

  • Select SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry as your school.

under "select school" choose SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry

  • Click Save

Now, anytime you want to reload a page through the remote access login, click the book icon in your browser.
